Hotel Ya Pas de Probleme is a french/dogon run hotel in Mopti that offers french food upstairs in the restaurant, a good bar (with freshly squeezed juice), clean rooms with fans, shared bathrooms (which are always clean) and an outside pool for the use of guests.  They also have internet and can help you organize tours around the region.

After 3 days on the Niger River this place was indescribable luxury!  It's on the cheaper end of the scale for hotels in Mali and it's possible to sleep on the roof if you're on a budget but I splurged and got a room and was glad I did.  The food's great (especially if you've been a bit homesick for food that isn't rice and sauce!) and the pool is one of the best things I had seen in weeks by the time I made it there.  Highly recommended!
