Behind his blind walls, after pushing the door, you'll discover the RYAD DAR KAOTAR ,an old house, totally renovated by the traditional local standard, and transformed into a comfortable bed and breakfast. You'll try de magic of the Marrakech Medina. The easy access to the house is not common for a house situated in the MEDINA A guarded parking ,the Bab Hilane gate and the ramparts of the city are distant of only 100 meters. The greatest JEMAA EL FNA place is at 10 minutes on foot. See plan of access on web site.

This Ryad (600 square meters in 3 levels) is composed by 4 bed rooms open to a patio, a big salon and a terrace facing Marrakech .From the three levels terrace you can see the Atlas mountain range. The four bed rooms are equipped with eaters and clim, with double beds, private bath room, private toilet and dressing room.

You'll appreciate the quietness of the house, the traditional Arab mint tea ceremony, the sun bath at the terrace, and the noise coming from the outside life.The whole city of Marrakech go to sleep while the last prier call from the muezzin is calling from minaret to minaret. A haunting rumour is coming from the medina. Since a thousand years Marrakech go to sleep protected by its ramparts.From the terrace ahead of the town one can see the miracle. At the first light of the morning the miracle of colours, smells, perfume of spices, mint and jasmine smells, are coming from small path in between high walls.Minarets, green tiles from a palace roof, palm threes going out of a patio, all are illuminated by the rising sun. At mid day, Marrakech get his breathe asphyxiated by the heat.At dawn, like by magic Marrakech is turning red. An intense life seduce the traveller. Man, Women, donkey overcharged, running kids, salesman, craftsman, are crowding in the streets. In the middle of that, you can discover one of the Ryad, calm and quiet, with the freshness of its fountain.

This is one of the contrast of the city of Marrakech. Glowing, open, noisy, in the streets and in the souks , and close or mysterious into the houses. The inside walls of the ryad are covered by antique ceramic called "Zelliges" and a red ochre wall covering paste called Tad Latke. In the middle of the patio there is the fountain which is giving the needed freshness at the house.

In the rez of road there is an arched kitchen, and two big rooms. By two stairs, one reaches the first floor where there are two rooms among which one of more than 5 m 30 under ceiling and a big lounge with two domes and a fireplace. The rooms and the lounge are all decorated in typical and traditional Moroccan style.

The last one reaches to the top terrace on three levels, surrounded by sculpted iron fence in Moresque style

Bedrooms can be rented by individuals, groups or companies for holydays, seminars, events. Rentals are available by day, weekend, weeks, or month.Price following the season from 70 to 90 euros by double bedroom and by night for two persons, breakfast included .
