This budget hotel chain is highly recommended and presents excellent value for money for the budget conscious. It is situated in an exciting part of Singapore that provides a glimpse into the local flavor of the island. sg 02/09 The hotel exterior is modern and blends in with the surrounding residential building. The building is in excellent condition and looks almost new. Located within the red light district in the suburb of Geylang, this area is well known to the locals for its good food, fruit shops and exciting nightlife. Along the street, some buildings light up with garish neon lights and red lanterns signifying houses of pleasure. Walking down the streets is as safe as any part of Singapore. This is as close as you can get to the alternative side of Singapore.
