Welcome to HLUHLUWE BACKPACKERS & DINIZULU SAFARIS

Our Backpacker is a warm and cosy home, stylish renovated and is featuring various kind of accommodation:

1 x 12 bed dorm
2 x double room in the main house with ceiling fans
1 x chalet with more privacy (also with fan)
3 x stationary parked caravans, we do rent them out as single, double or twin rooms, all with view into the park and close to Toilet & Shower facilities

Spacious Camping and Caravan Area with plug points and light under shady trees and close to restrooms.

With just a mere 1.5 km in front of Memorial Gate (Hluhluwe National Park), we are calling the BIG 5 our neighbours. Enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view into real, rural ZULULAND and at nighttime you've got the sparkling star-sky over your head and the giggle of hyenas in your ears.

In the Main House you'll find:

Our Reception/Lounge with Information and Travel Assistance around the clock.

A cosy Bar with a range of Drinks and a Dining Room Area nicely decorated.

2 Showers, 2 Toilets

Our Self-catering Kitchen is very well equipped, but if you don't like to cook, you can choose a home cooked meal from our Dinner Menu (eg. Chicken Curry, Traditional Braai, Beef or Venison goulash etc.)
We also cater for Vegetarians with choice of meals.

In the morning we a offer different breakfasts to very favorable prices.

Outside you find a fireplace, braai-area (BBQ) and lots of space to sit and to enjoy our beautiful garden with active bird-life

Getting there:
Our place is very easy to find,
Driving on the N2, take TURN-OFF 'Hluhluwe/Sodwana Bay' , Follow sign to Hluhluwe National Park, you find us after +/- 13 km on the left hand side.

Coming from Durban Direction, make sure you pass Mtubatuba staying for another 50 km on the N2 before you take the Turn-off to the Park.

We do free pick-ups from Hluhluwe town for guests who arrive with the baz bus or mini-bus taxi and we can arrange transfer from other destinations.
