This is the highest building in Bangkok at 88 storeys high. Even if you can't afford to check-in to this hotel, you may have a buffet dinner at the restaurant which has a magnificent view of the city skyline (at roughly 1000 baht for 2 pax in 2003). You can then go up the view deck after dinner to be enamored some more by the view.

The highest building in Bangkok (not for long time - is coming another one highest in some years) and the 28-highest building (this number was for the year 2007) in the world. Baiyoke II Tower have 304 meter high and 85 floors. I took from here great photos to Bangkok from the last one floor, also you can see all Bangkok. At night the view is wonderful.

Definately to be added to the list of top places to go in Bangkok. Go late afternoon to enjoy the view during daytime then have a drink in the cafe whili waiting for nightfall. Stunning. Entrace from the ground floor is a bit confusing and hidden but staff is helpful. Surrunding area is very lively with many shops.
