Last time in Bangkok was in 1987, probably considerable change since. I stayed at the Shangrila (sp) hotel and it was excellent. Right on the river with views of the river and its traffic.

A wonderful place to relax when you are exhausted,oh, and donot forget to check out the fish massage,extremely tickling ..........the river boat service is a good sight seeing experience

Beautiful Hotelat the Chaopraya River with an excellent view across the river. Very nice terrace and real italian coffee.. Before I forget: try out the brunch buffett or dinner..
