Getting there:
There's only one way to get here - by boat. Virtually everyone will take the Green Turtle Ferry (http://oii.net/Information/Ferry.html) from the Treasure Cay Airport ferry dock. The ferry stops both in New Plymouth and White Sound...the latter is where you want to go to. One way fare was around US$10, when I took this back in Nov 2008.

If you are looking for an active resort with lots of people, nightlife and casinos...this place is NOT for you.
Rather, the Green Turtle Club is all about relaxing and being low-key. On an amenities level, it's got most of what you would expect from a (in my opinion) 3-star resort, with some really nice furnishings. I hesitate at calling it a 4-star--largely because rooms do not come with TVs (most folks probably want this) and that there is only one dining option on-site. The restaurant does rotate their menus daily (seating times must be pre-booked during your stay), so you won't be stuck with having grouper every single night. For munchies to take back to your room, there is a small convenience store close by.
The standard room is surprisingly huge. Beds are clean, firm and comfy--and come with more pillows than I knew what to do with (about 15 altogether on a king bed). No TV as mentioned above, but this was totally expected. The bonus was that the room (indeed, all standard rooms) come with a private deck overlooking one of the inlets of Green Turtle Island.
Service is excellent and friendly here, a very different experience if you are used to Nassau/Cable Beach standards. Highly recommended, if you are looking for a comfortable, quiet Out Islands stay.
