WALKING from the TRAIN STATION is quite easy and scenic too, it's only 2.6km and takes about 30 minutes. Exit the train station, walk straight down Chernivetska St., turn left on to Horodotska, walk about 1.5km and turn right at Modesta Mentsynskoho St., walk past the statue of St. George slaying the dragon, get on to Tadeusha Kostyushka St., then turn left and you are on our street! NOTE: Tram tickets ('kvitoki') are purchased on board from the driver and must be validated! From the main BUS STATION, take 'Marshootka' (Small Bus for 1.50 UAH) number 71 to the center. Simply print our map and indicate our location to the driver or ask for 'Shevchenko Monument' which is on the main boulevard called 'Prospect Svobody'. Feb 4, 2011 This is a nice Hostel wich gives the visitors a lot of posibilities to get a good idea of the city of L'viv, a city in western Ukraine that has been influenced by not only the Russians, but also the Polish, Hapsburgians and even has caried the Roman name of Leopolis. A city worth visiting, both for the formidable sights and the great atmosphere! The Hostel is located in the citycentre and has everything one needs, though is a little noisy. Staff is great and kitchen is fine too. Related Links
