Feel the history in the heart of elegant Holland Park. One wing of the hostel is a former Jacobean mansion, built in 1607 for Sir Walter Cope, Chancellor of the Exchequer for James I. In the 19th century, Lady Holland had a salon here, attended by such famous names as Sheridan, Sir Walter Scott, Lord Byron, Wordsworth and Dickens.

It now offers large, comfortable rooms that overlook the park and is adjacent to the open air theatre. We are located just off Kensington High Street, close to the Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Palace, and the main museums are all within walking distance.

We offer some 6-8 bedded rooms, but mostly 12-20 bedded rooms. Meals available include breakfast, picnic lunch and evening meal. Evening meal served from 5pm.

Our place is ideal for those interested in visiting museums.

This hostel is part of the Youth Hostels Association of England & Wales, which is a membership organization. The prices quoted are member's prices. A non members supplement of €3 per person per night will be charged on arrival for those guests not in possession of a valid YHA England & Wales or equivalent IYHF/ Hostelling International membership card

YHA policy states that customers under 14 years of age are not permitted to stay in shared dormitories, and those under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is aged 18 years or older. We recommend to use High Street Kensington Station.Turn Left out of station, down Kensington High Street to Holland Park entrance. The hostel is at top of walkway inside park. Beautiful! Calm and colourful, saw it in April with all the flowers, used to eat lunch sitting on grass under trees covered with blossom, watching birds. Great memories.
