The perfect choice for budget-conscious travelers planning a Boston vacation or business trip, the John Hancock Hotel and Conference Center combines a rich history, exemplary service and top-of-the-line amenities in the city’s esteemed Back Bay neighborhood. Built in 1925, the property was originally the Club House for the University Club of Boston. Though beautifully restored, the lobby retains features that hark back to the hotel’s inception, including a marble double stairway that leads to an expansive second floor lobby with a 20-foot ceiling.
