Oct 10, 2008 I stayed at this hotel with my mum and I love it. The difference with the ambience in your room to that of everthing downstairs is huge. We were on the 12th floor and had a big room and our beds (twin) were large. I guess that was my first impression of American version - everything big. This place never sleeps - the whole of Las Vegas is alive 24/7. At 3am in the morning we fancied coffee... I went down stairs and there were still people at the slot machines blowing their money away and I got coffee served to me in huge polystyrene cups. It was cheap and delicious. I have to say the Americans do good coffee. The hotel is just enormous. We nearly lost our way because we took the wrong life so the walk to our room felt almost forever. Actually my mother nearly panicked!!! Poor sod. We booked to see one of the medieval shows and that included dinner. Wow! what an experience. We chose the chicken which was served on grey metal plates (just like that you would see in a medival film) and our cups were also metal. The show was in an oval arena where the show was with horses and knights. Their customes looked really authentic. We paid $35 per person. That is not too bad considering that included our dinner and refreshment and pretty delicious too. The staff are really nice and very very helpful. Although we are not gamblers we did try our hand at the 'one arm bandit' and my mum actually won $50 from her $5 - lucky woman. I am glad to say I stopped at $10. The whole ambience of that hotel is so mediaval and it looks like they spend so much money to ensure it was like that. There are so many shops and restaurants and cafes. Most mornings evenings we had our meals in their buffet restaurant and it was wow. What I mean by that is the choices are just endless - I really am not exagerating. Never in my life have I ever seen such a very large choice of food and better still for only $6 per head. That also included your drinks - unlimited. The food was high quality and very delicious. Thankfully we decided not to get carried away with eating too much - it was cheap after all. Although the Excalibur is one of the oldest hotels on the strip it is highly recommended. They have 4 swimming pools and all are fabulous, clean and well maintained. The room charge was $80 per night per room. Frank that is good value for money especially if you are coming from the UK. Oct 1, 2009 This is a casino for the kids inside the adults body! I would say its best for families, there is quite a bit geared toward kids. A fun atmosphere, although the slots were not very nice when I was there. The Kings Tournament show they have is quite fun, different from the normal Vegas. Nov 30, 2008 Tolles Hotel-Casino direkt am Strip - zwischen New York New York und Luxor mit super Show: Tournament of the Kings - Ritterspiele. Wenn man im Excallibur nächtigt bekommt man die Karte zum Ritterspiel um den halben Preis. Related Links
