Crack in the Ground is a two-mile long, 10- to 15-foot-wide basalt lava fissure, which runs from 10 to 70 feet deep into the earth. Devil's Garden Wilderness Study Area includes two spatter cones know as The Blowouts and are an interesting volcanic feature right alongside the road leading to Derrick Cave and Ice Cave. The national forests, desert country, and mountains provide numerous opportunities for anglers, golfers, mountain bikers, hikers, rock hounds, and skiers. Hang gliding is also a popular sport in the area.After a relaxing sleep, wake up to coffee, orange juice, and donuts to start your day. Laundry facilities are nearby.
