Buffalo Tours booked this hotel for us, and it served as my home base for the majority of my stay in Hanoi. It is situated in a pretty convenient location with a market right across the street. Wifi is included, although it can be pretty slow at times. I found I had to change networks several times. They have laundry services at about $0.50 per item which is handy if you are going on a long trip. Another nice touch was the fruit bowl and complimentary water bottles. The breakfast buffet is ok, but not spectacular but it had a decent selection of items.

I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. The second time we went to the hotel it was all full and they put us on the 4th floor with a window that faces a wall. That wasn't super appealing given that the rest of the rooms in which we stayed had great views of the town, so I went downstairs and asked the manager to switch rooms for us. Happily they obliged.

From what I can tell, room rates for a deluxe room were around $60 USD per night, which seems alright for the location. I'd probably stay somewhere else the next time just to try something different.

On premise is a massage parlour - it's rates are competitive - $15 for an hour long massage, but I wouldn't recommend the foot polish as they reuse their foot file.
