Whilst the live music played at Mama Africas is lots of fun, it does get a little loud so having coversations is a little difficult - but then it's not the place to go if you want a 'quiet' dinner. The disappointing part was the food - it is clearly aimed at tourists so if they food is average (very average) there's no need to worry because there wouldn't be repeat business anyway as people are from out of town. Go for the music/atmosphere but don't expect a delicious meal.

If you want Local food and some fantastic localmusic that is guaranteed to get you dancing this is the place to go- you won't want to leave.

live african bands, chilled out, great staff who will look after you should the men get too friendly... and a brilliant springbock steak!
