Some people say that it's hard to find really nice places to go out in Basel - but this is definitely one! The Messeturm is (so far) Basel's highest building and the Bar Rouge is on the top floor - from there you can see the entire city from above, pretty cool. On weekdays and on weekends until 10pm the Bar Rouge is a really nice bar / lounge, sometimes there's live music. On Sat and Sun night the bar turns into a club. They mostly play house music and the drinks are really good - check it out!

An excellent bar on the 31th floor of a skyscraper. You have a view over the whole city of Basel and you can see three different countries: Switzerland, France and Germany.
