Not exactly in Brisbane itself but I'm lazy to go and tag it again: Bribie Island is a great place to chill out and relax, especially during the summer I'd think (I went in Autumn but it still was good weather). Rent, borrow or steal a 4x4 to go joyriding on the beach - just... don't roll it over (;
