Insider tips for Vienna:
Now of course everyone will visit the Ringstrasse and the Hotel Sacher (great cake), the Rathausplatz but there is so much more to do and see in Vienna:

- First of all: go to Vienna either in December (great Christmas market and atmosphere) or again in Summer.
- Then you have to go to a traditional coffee house (Landmann would be my suggestion)
- If you're in Vienna between December and May something really special would be to go to one of the hundreds of balls which take place each year. It's a once in a lifetime experience.
- Watch the horses of the Spanische Hofreitschule.
- Visit Schönbrunn of course: but the zoo is even nicer in my opinion.

- For nightlife: Discos: Volksgarten, or clubs like Waxis and Keiko, Seven Cocktails

- Restaurants: Figls (Grinzing): nice Austrian cuisine, the area Grinzing also has many other typical Austrian restaurants called "Heurigen" or "Buschenschank".
- Meinl am Graben,
-Steirereck im Stadtpark (quite expensive but exquisite), -Septimo Cielo (great Italian restaurant in the center of Vienna),
-Salmbräu (other great Austrian restaurant),
-and also try the Naschmarkt for nice restaurants.
