Pangnirtung is the beautiful entrance way to Auyuittuq National Park--home of the greatest vertical face on earth, they filmed a James Bond movie there--a place one has to be to really feel or understand. The last polar bear was seen here over a decade ago so don't worry about bringing a rifle.
