Near sunset sit on the west side of the island with a bottle of wine and listen to the amazing sea organ play (this actually a set of pipes beneath the pavements that the sea "plays") while the sun sets over the marina. Also, while walking around notice the bullet holes and chips in the buildings from the recent (1995) wars with Yugoslavia for the independence of the Republic of Croatia.
