Watch out! Restaurants and Cafes in Munich close as early as 6pm and usually around 7pm! Whats left open are the Beer Halls (large pubs/bars)!

That's bollocks. Living in Munich, I know that almost every restaurant is open till 11pm at least.

The locals eat early (lunch time) main daily meal and yogurt, soups for dinner time.
