Monaco is a great place to visit with several distinct areas: Monte Carlo is very glamorous and up-market, the harbour area is full of the expensive boats you will ever see and a great place to stop for a dirnk and boat/people watch, the old town up on the hill is full of history. If you have the enrgy, walk the F1 route - most of it is obvious from the kerb markings and you will recognise much of the route. The train station is amazing, central but hidden. It's a great day trip from Nice or vice-versa.
