Work out the exchange rate early on because you dont realise how much you spend is actually going on food and then you end up with no money for the cool things you would like to buy. 
And DONT try getting the 'meanest' tan on the first day by not putting on sunscreen and sitting out in the sun all day! Lobster aint the look
