Take the road to Hana, but allow the whole day! And take the travel guide Maui Revealed. It will help you find the coolest sights on the island. But beware- sometimes things change; one of them is the 'trail' that leads to a view of Lower Puohokamoa Falls 8/10 of a mile past the 10 mile marker. The book has you look for the turnout by the telephone pole. The trail is gone, washed away at the end of a barbed-wire fence. It's a deadly area with a 1,000 foot drop. Leave this one off your list of sights to see.
