Tip on : Boston - 4 years ago
I'd like to tell you all about the history of Boston, and about all the wonderful monuments and immense opportunity for knowledge of our country's beginnings, but my 3-4 visits have been all-consumed by the St. Patrick's Day celebrations, which usually involves three simple things: Killian's, Pubs, and the Parade. I've always stayed at the Shawmut Inn, which has its pros and LOTS of cons, but is the best for price and location, if you are there to experience pub life and aren't used to 5 star hotels. It's in the heart of downtown, and across the street from the T, so anywhere you want to go in the city, it's easy. Don't miss the Patty's Day parade in Southie ... something to put on your list of things to do in life.
