Don't get money out of ATM's in Zim, you'll get the official rate, the black market is millions better.

Lucky this has all changed now and there is no more black market money trading, The Zim currency is dropped and everything is in US$ . So if you draw money out of the ATM machine you will get US$ notes, not Zim $. Read more here http://www.victoriafalls-guide.net/zimbabwe-currency.html

but be careful if exchanging on the black market Vic Falls is full of under cover cops waiting to arrest tourists exchanging on th e black market. you genereally wont need to change money - forex is readily accepted at most places you will need to spend. You don't want to spent time in a zim jail...
