Oranjestad, Aruba Best way to get around the island is by hire car. Taxis can get expensive, especially if you're doing numerous trips from the Palm Beach area into Oranjestad. There are buses but they're not always available when you need one. Good tip? (0) Aruba, Aruba this is an excellent place to tan and shop like crazy..

(0) Oranjestad, Aruba If you come to Aruba on a cruise, the local bus terminal is right across the street from the boat terminal. Take the hotel zone bus for 2 dollars all the way to the Marriott and walk and swim all the way back to the ship. Its an amazing stretch of beach! Good tip? (0) Oranjestad, Aruba Ah Aruba!! The Happiest Island! We took our 2 teenagers to Aruba for a wonderful week of cultural exchange, water sports and unbelievable people. Go to www.traveltalkmedia.com/ARUBA and see for yourself. The itinerary is easy to follow and we have published restuarants and other wonderful activies you must partake in! Have a wonderful trip! And remember, there is so much electricity there that it will blow your mind to see little stores with the doors open and air conditioners going full blast. Have a ball! AND tons of Aloe vera is every where along with great Aloe Vera products. Stock up and bring them home for every king of use. Safe Travels! The island is very small and the winds are going 24/7. No wonder Marco Polo got where he was going, the winds will knock your hat off in a NY minute, so hang on!!
