Bring a cover for the flies, they are horrendous in this part of the world. The sunrises and sunsets are nothing less than legendary.

This city is so small, you could almost miss it, but it is imperative to venture out into the bush, and visit Ayers Rock. It is massive, and very impressive. I loved it, and it was a great hike to circumnavigate it.

The youthhostel is definitely an unique experience ! I'll recommend it to every people who dream about seeing a sunrise on the Uluru AND enjoying a huge australian BBQ... the atmosphere at night is unbelievable inside the youthhostel area... of course you'll have to deal with 20 other people in the same bedroom than you but it's worth it !!!

Yulara town, I haven't been in, but obviously, nearby Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta, are absolutely wonderful to pay a visit. Personnaly, I found Kata Tjuta more impressive than Uluru, although Uluru is much more well known...
