Perth is definitely a fantastci city for foreign sutdents. People are nice and nightlife is quite fantastic.

I *love* this city! King's Park, the Mint, Gallery, Museum, Swan Brewery, the beaches, Hillary's, so many great things to do!

Must visit Little Creatures Brewery in Fremantle, just amazing place to hang out with your friends.
Great food.
Great beer.

Probably the best beach in Perth. Excellent for surfers!

Northbridge is a great region with good clubs.

Dive on Rottnest Islands, there are lots of caves.

The ideal times in which to visit Perth are September - November ( Spring ) and March - May ( Autumn ).
However those sensitive to the heat may like to refrain from visiting Perth during January and February, typically the hottest months, when the temperature can break the 40 degree Celsius/104 degrees Fahrenheit mark. In the winter months (June to August) temperatures are usually around 20 degrees Celsius/68 degrees Fahrenheit.
During summer time we need to wear suncream with a high protection factor whenever you are outdoors. Never go out in the sun without a hat . Sunglasses are an absolute must.
Anyways I love Perth very much. It's quick to getting around as the public transportations ( buses, trains and free bus services ) are very easy. On Sunday and public holidays the services a bit slow.

Go to Rottinest Island, it's a small island out in the sea, not far from Fremantle

Heath Ledger used To Live Here. Youve Got Beautiful Beaches Here And The City Is So Awesome. The Perth Zoo Is So Cool When I Was Little There Was A Train That Took You Places There.
