Try Sacher Torte and see the view from St Stephan's dome. Check out Schon Brunn too, it's the oldest zoo in Europe and well worth the visit! Also see the old Hapsburg's palace, very interesting. The architecture is great too! Good tip? (0) Vienna, Vienna State, Austria Vienna, a paradies for food! All those deserts and sweets, just drive you crazy! But do not panic. There is so much to see, for example "Schloss Schönbrunn" or the "Hofburg", you will loose these calories immediately! Coffee in thousands of varieties are available, hence enough time to sit down a moment and dream of the acient times, where "Kaiserin Elisabeth" was on the throne of Austria-Hungary. Good tip? C U there ;-) Good tip? (0) Vienna, Vienna State, Austria My chosen-home town. Since I grew up a little on the outside of Vienna, this is what I call my Preferable-Home Town. I moved to Vienna when I was 15, and I still haven't seen everything there. Touristically surely very unique with it's castles and other sights from the emperior-time. One of the most important "must sees" is Palace Schoenbrunn in the 12th district of Vienna. The Garden is open to public and very nice to take a walk on a sunny day. In the Gloriette which is located in the middle of the park on a small hill you have a fantastic view over Vienna. You can sit there, relax, enjoy a nice cup of real viennese coffee and be amazed by the view.
Also if you are interested in Churches, don't miss to visit the St. Stephen's Cathedral. Very impressing!
The Center of the City, the old part, is worth seeing it. By far the most beautiful part of the City.
On sunny days you can also enjoy to walk around (or skate) next to the Danube! Good tip? (0) Gerasdorf bei Wien, Lower Austria, Austria Gerasdorf is a small and nice town near Vienna. It´s not the place you should visit, when you´re travelling around Austria. It´s very quite and clean. There are some small restaurants and supermarkets. Good tip?
