Superb city one needs trio’s day for the visited. To make gone imperatively in a pastry making of the district of the opera and y tasted a chocolate cake with a hot chocolate a little expensive but for the greedy ones with not passed to with dimensions.

If you're looking for something else for a change when visiting Vienna, you might want to consider a stay at the Austria Trend Event Hotel Pyramide in Wien Vösendorf. It is a 4-star hotel with a wonderful tropical swimming pool inside (and outside) a large pyramid structure. There are also inside tennis courts and other sportive activities.

Also a great place for your conference or business meetings!

Looking a place to spend night or few in Vienna? I recommend Wombat's Hostel - The Base. Nice clean rooms, warm atmosphere, and crazy bar. It's the best place to meet other travelers like You from all around the world.

If you're on a tighter budget, stay at Wombat's ! They've got 2 hostels now, both within walking distance to the train station, clean, an option to have breakfast in-house at a very affordable price, and very helpful personnel.

I also happened to visit the Prater the evening of 1st May and discovered they celebrate May Day there in a big way with free concerts and a lot of entertainment!

Stay at the Christina, af airly inexpensive and unpretentious hotel with a VERY friendly and helpful staff. The Art Deco surroundings are tasteful and reflect one of the most important periods in Viennese art history. Speaking of art, do not miss the Hundertwasser Haus. Down the street is a coffeeshop (I forget the name but a peek inside to look for the dark paneled rooms will tell you, you have found it). I mention the place because we had the best strudel I have ever eaten at this coffee shop. If you compliment the strudel you will probably be introduced to the Strudel maker, a big Austrian mama.

Airport-Wien-Schwechat Very laid back people- nice food and wines, if you look for the Heurige-Restaurants. They sell their homemade food and homemade wines. You don t need Taxi or car-just rent a "Fiaker"- A coach led by horses and you can have a nice romantic sight-seeing tour through the town

A gorgeous city, i recommend the hotel Linder, it's in Belvedere a 5 minute walk from the tram stop and Belvedere castle and gardens, which has a fantastic art collection including "The kiss" by Klimt. it is also 10 minutes walk (place a nice park and chuirch with reflecting pool) to Karlsplatz station, from where you can get anywhere in the city. Schönbrunn castle and gardens are great, and if you like zoos the one there is very nice, they have giant pandas. Stephansplatz is a good starting point for the huge catherdral and a walk to all the museums in the museum quarter. At sunset take the U1 line to Donouinsel for a great setting for sunset shots on the Danube. This is a gorgeous city, very friendly people, great food and amazing architecture.
