If the sky's cloudless above your head and you have a few bottles of Trappist beer (bought in the GB close to the Bourse) in hand... you'll know what I mean.

Very boring place. The whole city is like the square mile in London at the weekend; I.e, people go there to work during the week and the place is dead on the weekend.

make sure to see the statue of the peeing boy!!! It is really disappointing and strange!! They dress him up in different little costumes every few days!

Café Metteko
Located in front of the O'Reilly's Irish Pub near the Brussels Stock Market, you'll find a very interesting pub/restauration called El Metteko. A latin-american-african atmosphere, no to expensive for the city centre, you'll find many young open minded people in this place.

Most of what there is to see in Brussels is in the market square, however it is spectacular and probably the best town square in Europe. After that, the interest tails off and I would go for the beers, again some of the best in Europe. Go for the strong beers in small measures and taste them as you would fine wines.

Perché andare a Bruxelles ? Non c'è un motivo. È una città ignobile, brutta, piena di spazzatura. Le uniche due 'attrazioni' della città sono in realtà fuori città: l'Atomium e l'Aeroporto internazionale. Ma che razza di attrazioni sono???
