Near the town of Bastogne several memorials are in place that remember the fierce battles fought during thye Second World War between the Germans and the Allies. One memorial place is worth a visit; The Mardasson east of Bastogne. The 5 star shaped memorial tells the story of the fights near Bastogne and the top of the memorial has a great view over Bastogne's surroundings.

A must see place for anyone who's into World War II memorabilia...tanks, weapons, canons, monuments...This is where the Battle of the Bulge took place...one of the last stands of the Nazis.
