foz do iguazu is compared to the rest of brasil expensive, kind of like florianopolis. Do not buy foods in the nationalpark. it costs about 30 USD for a lunchbuffet. which is very expensive for south america.

thare's a ctm at the entrance of the national park off the iguacu fall's on the brazillian site you can go with a train/tram-tourist wagon to the site make sure you keep you're kids close to you at all times 'the mountains are high and the water is deep' for special deals best contact your travel agent or look in the TO-packages I don't recoment to eat at the site itself but go to a nearby restaurant

Foz is a fun city with more than enough bars and clubs for a night time party. While a bit touristy, you may want to seek out a Brazilian BBQ / show for a nice dinner and learn some dance steps!

When here, you must check out the waterfalls. Go on the boat tour so you can visit 3 countries at the same time. It is an awesom experience. Meet locals, and work on expanding your Portuguese! The food is cheap, and yet amazing! Do not eat too much, because dessert will follow!
