The Banff Springs Hotel is worth paying the money to stay at.

Make sure you see lake moraie, emerald lake and lake louise while you stay at Banff, they are the most beautiful lakes i have ever seen.

go to the huge candy store and take cash they dont accept debt :(

Go to the bridge at the edge of the township at 3am and wait for the wildlife to arrive. most amazing experience

make sure you have plenty of money

visit lake morraine and the valley of 10 peaks

go horseback riding cuz its really fun and you might get to walk across a river with the horse

As I like wild animals very much I was really fan of Banff and its surrounding national park. We saw elks, mooses and other deer. I guess Banff will become a nice small touristic town once all the works on the main road are finished. The only negative thing was that it is too touristic.

Gorgeous city - but very expensive. The parks/lakes/mountains are all worth seeing when you get in the park though.
