A must is the West Edmonton Mall. It has attractions for everyone...water park, dolphin show, tide pools and penguins, ice rink, hotel, Imax theatre and many shops.

Breathtaking mountain park!

On the East side of the Canadian Rockies. Famous for the Stampede in early June every year, probably the greatest show on earth. Visit Olympic Square every morning the Stampede is on for free breakfast cooked fresh from the back of the "chuck wagons". Each show day includes traditional rodeo in the afternoon and each evening is chuck wagon racing followed by a great stage show and fireworks. Graet value for money. Book tickets on line before you go for great seats at a good price. Stay out of town at Holiday Inn Express and ride the tram in from the nearby station.

The walk around this beautiful lake is incredibley long so take a lunch and leave lots of time but don't beat your self up if you only go half way because what ever view point the lake is breath taking

The most stright forward tip I know, head for Spirit Island. It truly is the most mystical and magical place I have ever visited and I sincerely doubt I will ever find this type of view again for as long as I live.

Gets incredibly hot during summer. Not so much fun looking at dinosaur fossils in killer heat!

If you visit Lake Louis don't miss it to do a nice little hike up to the tea house and the glacier.

If you make it to Calgary take a day trip to Banff Nat. Park. Don't forget to dress warm and consider a ski day!
