Stanley Park is a great way to loose weight! Discover the local inuit art and have a fine dinner with fresh seafood. Should you prefer to see living "seafood" you can do so by visiting the Vancouver Aquarium. The old town with its "Steamclock" invites you for a perfect afternoon of shopping. And maybe you want to visit one of the national parks nearby the city.

Walk all the way from Acadia beach to Wreck beach, and you'll get the feeling of being in the middle of Pacific Wilderness, but only a 1/2 hour from downtown. See WWII Artillery Towers, bald eagles, seals, and gigantic trees. Watch out for the occasional naked sunlover, even in winter!
