There's so much to see in Vancouver it's really hard to give you a travel tip that covers enough.
Well, just be sure you visit Granville Island, Yale Town, Stanley Park and if you wanna have a nice seafood dinner then go ahead and make a reservation at the "Cannery":

Stay in Yale town, the Opus is a great hip botique hotel, wonderful food and bar, the whole ambience is too cool. Close to great restaurants, the seafood places within walking distance are too good.

The airport isn't much! But I did get a great portable iPod speaker and sleeping mask at the duty free shop there.

It is extremely cold in Vancouver, even in the Spring so you need a thick jacket whenever you leave the hotel.

If you have time go to the playland. But don't drink too much the night before!!!

Avoid the Massey Tunnel during rush hour!

Robson St in the summer is pretty hard to beat. Hit up Coco Ricos, great food, and staff are personal friends of mine. If you like Sushi, try Tanpopo. If you make it for lunch, its all you can eat for 10 bucks!

Be ready for the drizzle. This isn't called British Columbia for no reason.
But it is beautiful altogether. Enjoy the sights and the scenery. The people are also among the kindest and most sincere I have met in my travels.

Stanley Park is a must-see. Stay the whole day, travel around on the free bus, go hiking, see the totem poles, and don't miss the fabulous aquarium and the bald eagle nests. Take the salmon guided tour from aquarium. And please walk there from downtown!

If you go to Vancouver,don't be suprised it's really busy!
