Make sure you walk on the waterfront in the evening it's incredible

One of priciest cities in Canada, check the Miniature Museum. There is a huge square in the middle of the city with a lot of activities going on, its really fun and when evening comes, the lights go on.

Victoria, from a Vancouverites point of view, is very touristy and very expensive. It is still beautiful, and I guess if you have to find out for yourself, a cool way to do it is to ferry Vancouver to Victoria and then ferry Victoria to Seattle, then bus or train back to Vancouver or keep gong down the coast.

go to the wax museum, miniature world, the art gallery, and the royal bc museum.

Very safe town, you can walk any time during day or night without any problem.

Go to the beach, and search the sand . It's amazing how much money and valuable items end up buried underneath the sand, especially at low tide.

Compared to the nearby Vancouver, Victoria is a much more tranquil place, and its Downtown is less busy, safer and more romantic and beautiful. If you go to Victoria, make sure you get an annual pass to the Butchart Gardens so that you can visit there in all four seasons, and you'll enjoy different but equally spectacular and colour sceneries there! UVic was where I studied and graduated and is a lovely campus too! And you can go up to Mt Tolmie near UVic at dusk to see the sunset too.

My recommendation is to take the farry from Bellingham to Victoria Island!! Its cheap and just amazing!!!
