    Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Really nice city with lots of nightlife activities during summer (Festival Juste pour rire, Local Gay Pride, etc).
Corner of St-Catherine Street and St-Denis street is the place to be (really hot and fun).
People is really friendly and from all classes.
Visit Park Mont-Royal, Biodome, Jardin Botanique (if you like flowers), Stade Olympique has nothing special but a great view but a bit expensive...) and if you like attractions go to La Ronde (Ile Saint-Helene).
Finish at night by a dinner near the Vieux-Port (old Montréal) or by a hockey game at the Molson Center ;)

The new Canada Line Skytrain is now running, so you can take that to get into downtown Vancouver from the airport in less than half an hour.

Never call a cab in Vancover, it will never come. My friends n me waited an hour at Stanley Park, we decided to walk back to town under the cold snow, which took us another 1hour.

    Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada
Serious sightseeing in Niagara Falls happens at the Horeshoe Falls on the Canadian side... feels like you can touch the water as it goes over the cliff, and great waterside dining at the Table Rock restaurant (where I worked for a summer as a kid). Parking is a problem (especially on sunny days) so you're best to park up top and take the cable car down to the falls.

    Toronto, Ontario, Canada
The city is the safest place of the world, I guess. People are generally non-Canadian but friendly. The place I like most is Harbour Front because you can watch the lake, Toronto Island, sit on the grass, CN Tower at back and the tall shiny buildings at the same time. Sitting there is really relaxing. You can't find taxi whenever you want, if you find one, the driver might not know the roads. I myself directed the taxi driver even to the intersection of Yonge-Bloor. The intersection of Yonge and Bloor is not the best place to spend time. Dundas is better, more crowded, more activities, more shopping places. The subway stops in every 100 meters. So if you should go no more than 2 stations, walking is better. Because you spend all your time under ground and seing nothing.

    Banff, Alberta, Canada
The city bus goes up to the hot springs and up to the Banff Springs hotel. $2 one-way. Day passes for the bus are also available. Makes it easy to get around if you have no car. If you're flying into Calgary, there is an airporter bus service that is very convenient and very reliable that will take you right to your hotel in Banff (and pick you up there for the return trip). This is much nicer than the usual "super shuttle" service you can find at many US airport. Reservations highly recommended. http://www.banffairporter.com/scheduled.php The Fairmont Banff Springs hotel is a wonder! Pretty pricey, but worth a visit, even if you don't stay there. It's an amazing stone castle (literally), with lovely antiques! Many restaurants inside, too.
