Go over to Esperanza, a little town where some of the streets can only be traversed by motorcycle or foot. You will meet some of the most wonderful people here. Sometimes they provide a free clinic to the community and can use all the help they can get. They love friendly visitors.

Great beach to go hang out on for the day or a little longer, but probably not the best place in the DR to spend a long vacation in. Beware of the sea urchins, they are poisonous and numerous

Typical one day trip if you're in Punta Cana, La Romana, or the surroundings, but it's totally worth it. You can swim in amazingly clear, light blue waters of the Caribbean, have nice food, and come back while having ron coca cola and nice merengue lessons on a boat with far too loud music. Could it be anything more fun??

VERY beautiful! The bounty adverts were filmed on this island a few years ago. It is a lovely place to relax in the sun. The water is crystal clear, and the sea floor is covered in starfish. Lovely for snorkelling or diving a bit further off the shore.
