The locals are very friendly but do not understand and accept any other than hetero way of living. Be careful Do Not show affection in public. Even showing affection in public by holding you wife tightly might arouse contradiction......
For ladies, moving around will be much easier if you wear loose long sleeve clothing , sorry, but it's just because that the uneducated public are not use to appreciate the naked beauty.

There are so many things to do and see in Luxor- it is a must, together with Giza, for a visit to Egypt. There is the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, the Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Valley of the Nobles, and of course, the amazing Souks! (markets).

luxor a fabulous city. loads oof historical sites. relaxing holiday socialising limited to the hotels mostly . great local food and friendly locals. women may feel a little intimidated by all the attention.. more suited for couples. dont forget vacines. hotels are amazing .

Definitely hit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple as they are amazing and beautiful. However, Luxor is one of the hottest places in Egypt so try to go before 11 am or after 6 pm. All of the ruins are lit for night-time viewing and can look stunning in the soft glow. I suggest using Onyx Tours- very knowledgeable and courteous.

Try and get to the local orphanage and take some gifts for the children, is a neat experience and the children are so cute and just love having cuddles and hanging out with you:) We went here with our tour guide- was awesome!
