tallinn is just that awsum!!!
had a cheap and just wonderful youth hostel in the very city centre, really very very near to the city hall...so really in the middle of the old town...fav pub was the karja kelder 2 minutes away, was very cheap and cosy...lived from chicken wings and pancakes^^

Absolutely beautiful! And not completely overrun with tourists! Super friendly locals and the food at the Olde Hansa restaurant is to die for!

Multi Coloured City of Tallinn, I found the streets quite unique and very beautiful. Get rid of the semi or high-heel boots or shooes...lots and lots of cobblestone streets. I actually observed (from an outside cafe) how the girls (I assume lokals) was very efficient walkers there, in the meantime I lost a heel and my selfrespect by trying to eat the pavement a few times. Got a great (expensive) pair of sneakers in a lokal store. Make sure you go to the old town and see these beautiful coloured houses and streets. The Cathedral, Fat Magarita, Government house and embassy houses Food and drinks were very good and there are plenty of reataurants to choose from.

Must Lammas and Bakuu are the best restaurants in town, if you ask me. Ariran, if you do not mind the commute is good as well... Avoid Club Amigo in the Viru Hotel - it is just full of the same drunk Finns we all go to Tallinn to get away from ;)
