Amnéville is The place in Lorraine (northeast of France) for a relaxing stay in the Thermal Park with hotel of course, thalassotherapy, and other different thermal treatments. The thermal center is next to Amnéville Zoo and close to the biggest concert hall in Lorraine: Galaxie. Amnéville is very close to Metz, served by TGV from Paris and Strasbourg as well as Luxembourg. Close to the Amusement Park Walibi Schtroumpf (smurfs in French) and a big indoor pool in Semécourt.

Took the bus to Gerardmer with 50 partyheads for a weekend full of snow- partyfun !!

La place Stan, une ville qui bouge bien mais je n'ai que des souvenirs perso.

Metz is a small but really pretty city; they have a lot of gardens and very nice old buildings. In the Tourist office you may find the audio guided tours of the town, like in the museums …you can visit St. Stephen cathedral ... a lot of stained glass, some of them (I remember two...) made by Marc Chagall…France's oldest theatre is here. Everything in city center is easily accessible on foot, and much of the main downtown area is pedestrians…sit in the cafes in Place St. Jacques, is a beautiful place. Walk around to discover the city in the night, all the monuments and buildings are lighted in a special way. You can stay at Metropole Hotel, very clean and quiet hotel, nice rooms, helpful and friendly staff … the hotel is located near the Metz train station, one of the most beautiful train stations in France (looks like a cathedral)… during the summer, they have an amazing flowers arrangement.

en arrivant a Nancy, j'avais un gros a priori : la bas il fait gris, il pleut tout le temps, bref c'est le nord ! mais la ville m'a surprise par sa beauté, en particulier la place stanislas, qui est magnifique, de jour comme illuminée en pleine nuit. Le centre ville est bien organisé, le tram est pratique, il y a quelques parcs pour se reposer et beaucoup de magasins pour satisfaire ses envies de shopping, des endroits sympas ou sortir le soir, bref une belle ville !

Verdun is one of the symbol of "The Great War", WW1, with lots of battlefields and cemeteries where are burried thousands and thousands of soldiers! Make this journey of souvenir to remember those who fought for our freedom!
