If you are in Munich and are looking for a place to eat you have to go to Prinz Mishkin. Outstanding taste of food. However remember it's vegetarian!

Watch out! Restaurants and Cafes in Munich close as early as 6pm and usually around 7pm! Whats left open are the Beer Halls (large pubs/bars)!

Munich is a beautiful city, especially if it's spring- or summertime. Then, of course, it's time to visit some of the numerous beer gardens of Munich. I can especially recommend the ones at the Wiener Platz in Haidhausen, which belongs to the Hofbräukeller and the Max-Emanuel beer garden in the Adalbertstreet, very close to the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. Both of them lie rather central and are easily accesible by public transport. Although they are located amidst of Munich, you will be able to experience a fantastic atmosphere there. They are like recreative oases in the jungle of a large city. Once you are inside the garden, you can enjoy your "Maß" of beer and every Bavarian delicacy you can imagine. Needless to say, that you can meet nice and friendly people there - not only from Bavaria - but also from all over the world to make friends with.

Go to The Englischer Garten and have a beer or two:-)

Do NOT eat at the Augustiner Brauhaus on the main drag in Munich. The food quality is poor -- definitely a tourist trap. Now, the Augustinerbrau in Salzburg, however, is the real deal.

Definitely get a bier at the Chinese Pagoda in the Englischer Garden. Just try to get there before they stop serving food!

In Germany you can find a lot of kind of restaurant and from a lot of countries, but if u're young n you don't wanna expend so much money i advise u to eat near the University really good n cheap food 3 or 4 euros

Munich is an awsome place to visit. Beer gardens all over the place.Usually a rock band playing and you just sit wherever there is room and meet other people. When you go to get your beer, you buy a tolken. With the tolken you get a beer in a branded glass. If you keep the glass, you forfeit your tolken, but the glass is worth keeping as a souvinier. Make sure you visit the Glockenspiel in the square and visit all around it. There is a really neat market south east of the square and at the west end of the square is a very long shopping street. The only bad thing is that you cannot find anything over a canadian size 10:(
