OktoberFest fun fun fun - huge pretsels !

Munich es mi ciudad preferida de todas las que conozco. Es una ciudad super prendida, entrenida, cultural, hay muchisimos lugares para comer bien y tomar buen vino. Ah y por cierto las mujeres están bien bonitas!!

Shopping on Saturdays is horrid!!!! Stay away from the shops and enjoy the Paulaner - beer, at one of the many outdoor cafes.

We went there during Oktoberfest and camped at a place called Thalkirchen which was great, relatively easy to find and has a shop, vending machines with beer etc. We didnt see any of the city but transport was easy enough when we did use it! It was September, but overnight was so cold! During the day was warm though.

Octoberfest rulez! If you are interessted in Beer and millions of people you have to go to the Octoberfest in Munchen

Good weekend place, a lot of fun.

What can you say...visit the Royal Treasury Museum, it's breathtaking. The Royal palace is an amazing place and was empty the 2 times I toured it!

Probably the nicest overall city in Europe! Clean, friendly people, very cultured, good food, superb transit system, safe, excellent night life, good sports accomodations and many options to watch live sports games (Bayern München, 1860 München, the Munich ice hockey team, etc. Tips for those interested in culture: Deutsches Museum, Alte und Neue Pinakothek, Die Residenz, ... For those who enjoy the nightlife and like clubbing: go to Kultfabrik at München Ostbahnhof: plenty of clubs there, you name your favorite kind of music or nightclub, they have it!!! For those who like a stroll: knock yourselves out im Englischen Garten: enjoy the nature and make sure you don't get lost, for it's a huge park (probably one of the largest urban parks in Europe). Munich is, even more so than Berlin, a must see!!!

Go get some beers and sausages at the English gardens!they're so beautiful in the summer time...you may also take a sun bath almost naked!
