In the English Garden which has pretty Chinese and Japanese sections, do try to see the Japanese Tea Ceremony at the Japanese Teahouse; it is a serene Zen experience.

Another European great ... the highlight has to be those enormous mugs of weiss beer that would be called pitchers for 3 or 4 elsewhere but are a single shot here ... go to a traditional beer hall (there is one infamous one too that Hitler apparently frequented) and watch those healthy ladies balance dozens of these mugs frothing with beer to the brim, and bring them to you ... could never understand why you need Oktoberfest in a year-round beer-fest city like this ... of course there is much of Bavarian culture and history and life too to sample in Munchen ... and sausages of every make too if you like them, though I never took to them the way I took to cheese for instance ...

Third Reich Munich, Secrets of the Nazi Capital This is a great way to see Hitler's rise to power which was centered in and around Munich. Hitler called is the "Capital of the Movement." You will　see on this walking tour the founding of the Nazi Party and the infamous streets where some of the darkest stories of human history took root and grew into Hitler's dictatorship. When Iwas in Munich it was for the Oktoberfest celebrations however I took the time to see the attractions and its dark history of this city. The walking tour is great, as you are actually walking in the buildings where the Nazi meetings were held and you can really feel the city. If you have a short time in this city, or you have to drink more at the Oktoberfest, this is a great way to see at the Oktoberfest, this is a great way to see the city, and it is well worth it on a budget.

The City of Munich is really nice... A lot of friendly people, the BMW-Vehicle Museum and a great Music-Museum with a lot of Guitars from Angus Young to James Hettfield... And a Shirt from Jim Morrisson with his Sign on the Front... ;-) When you want to go to the Olympic Stadium, it`s a nice Hotel beside the Area...
