There is a good hotel there, if you like an inexpensive place with a nice view for interview inside the wood and away from the crowd go to Wald Cafe'

Bad Godesburg (or "Bad-G") is to Bonn, what the Upper East Side is to Manhattan. Nice restaurants and cafes by the Rhine, close to the main centre, but noticeably more tame, quiet, removed from rest of the city. There is a direct rail link though, so its not a problem getting between the two places

Bonn was the Capital of Germany before Berlin, so it is a city plenty of culture and a great architecture. There are a lot of green areas and the local residents are nice

In june there is a huge open air festival called R(h)einkultur. Lots of people, lots of Geman bands and its for free!
