One of my very favorite dive trips.  Stayed at the CocoView Resort.  It felt like a piece of home, everyone there took such good carer  of us!  Loved our room cabin on the water, heard the waves right under our floor! Wall of screen facing out to the ocean! Awesome diving as well!

It's Copan Ruins not 'Copen'. They are quite spectacular. If you are planning to go and see Tikal in Guatemala, come to Copan first. the town is lovely, lots of nice restaurants, shops and many different things to do. There's a lovely Coffee Finca that you can get to on horseback. Worth the time!

This place is beautiful! There's so much to do and see! Make this one of your top ten on your list in seeing the world! You'll thank me later :)

Coconut Tree Cabins are great! If you want something special: go for the Rock-House. Perfect if you got your partner with you :)

The Lighthouse is the best place to stay. I got a single room with bath for US$40.

The waves are calm and the water is nice.  The restaurants have at or near US pricing, but the food is good.  The city is a little, I'll say, less than clean.  You can find a cheap hotel with okay accommodations or you can find a better hotel with pretty decent accommodations.  Agree on the price before hand and pay each night, even if you are there for a string of days.  At our hotel the manager tried to change the price on us when we paid and were trying to leave.  Ladies, walking around in the city, the men cat call alot!

This is a major city in Honduras.  An interesting place with lots to do, you just have to be smart about traveling there.  The downtown market is pretty interesting, be aware of your surroundings, keep valuables out of sight.  Don't walk around with a lot in your hands and you'll do fine.  The main bus terminal is a cool place to visit too.
