    Flatey, Iceland
Flatey (Breiðafjörður) is a very nice little island in the west of Iceland (although there's also another island called Flatey (Skjálfandi) in the north of Iceland). Take the ferry from Stykkisholmur to Brjanslaekur. Flatey itself's very small and good for a stop-over. There are a lot of puffins there, enjoy their take-offs and missed approaches :-) The cemetary's very interesting and there's a small hotel and restaurant, too. Don't miss it !!

    Reykjavik, Iceland
Places to stay: Floki Inn, small guesthouse near city centre, and only few minutes away from the busterminal and Saga Museum. Very expensive city, but because of its small size prettymuch everything is within walking distance. Even the domestic airport terminal. The Saga Museum is worth visiting, even for Museumscared humanbeings its interesting because of its realistic `madame Tussaud`style of showing the countries history. Just mind prices are very high here so its recommended to buy some drinks and food at the local supermarkets as the bars and cafetarias are really expensive.

    Reykjavik, Iceland
Reykavik is actually a very nice city. However, there is curfews! You must be registered in a hotel and are not allowed out after dark. No kidding. There are many things to do in the city, alot of shops and stores, not cheap either. Get out of the city and get into the country and you will be amazed at how beautiful it is. Take your trip in late Spring, Summer, or early Fall .. NOT Winter. Be careful of the drinking too, you will be shocked at the age of the kids being found drinking in Iceland.

    Bakkagerdhi, Iceland
Bakkagerði is a small village in Borgarfjörður Eystri in Iceland. The landscape there is unique the village is surrounded by beutiful mountains and deserted fjords. It is about 1hour drive form Egilsstaðir airport and the road is not to bad. (except for Njarðvíkurskriður). The accomodation is a guesthouse and there is also a campsite. Bakkagerði and Borgarfjörður Eystri are an adventure to visit.

    Holar, Iceland
I have been all over Iceland, even outside of the few major cities, its a very interesting and beautiful country and most people are nice but most seem to just want you gone from their country . They have the best Milk in the world!! hahaha ,has something to do with the fact that the cattle have never been corrupted by any chemicals or pollutants from the outside world kind of like the whole country, they really are somewhat of a country in a bubble. Bring a variety of clothes mostly warm stuff you can layer as the weather changes every 15 mins, rain, snow, mist more snow WIND! etc
