See the beautiful Sri Meenakshi Temple, but take care: some parts of the temple are not to be entered by non-Hindu tourists and you might get into trouble if you do. Always cross a doorway with the right foot first.

food is spicy but not curry all the time! alot of rice which true can be annoying! people smiling all the time and colours every where and kids wanting only one thing is to be educated and the scenery is magical! Tea fields EVERYWHERE! rally yummy! so good! Everything is so cheap plus there is this cool tea place where they show you how they make it into our little bags that we buy at the shops! heard of tata tea? thats where its done or dilma tea? Same concept! plus they have coffee beans and you can walk along the fields and there are villiages in the middle of them its so cool! the tea must be good because the cow (which are sacred) eat the tea leaves!!!

Sri Meenakshi Temple is breath-taking. And in Gandhi Museum, you can see the blood-stained dhoti Gandhi wore when he was assasinated, and his sandals.

Get to the temple early - it is magic with the morning sounds and smells as the city wakes around it... and remember that 'non-hindus' cannot get into the inner sanctum (so don't bother buying an offering for Ganesh!)
